The Turkish Vice President Fuad Oqtai Monday evening arrived in Khartoum on a three-day official visit, headed by a delegation numbers of Minister to discuss relations between the two countries, especially economic relations and means of enhancing them.
He was received at Khartoum Airport by the First Vice – President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, and a number of ministers and senior officials.
The Turkish Vice President will visit the Red Sea State in the third day of the visit and inspect Sawaken and Port-Sudan harbors.
During his visit, the Turkish VP will meet with the President of the Republic Omar Al Bashir, also will hold talks with First Vice President Bakri Hassan Saleh, Speaker of the National Council Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Omar and Prime Minister Motaz Mousa.
The accompanied delegations consist of ministers of Energy, Trade and Agriculture, a number of officials of the Turkish banks and the Director of Ziraat Bank which would establish a branch in Sudan.
On the third day of the visit, the Turkish Vice President will visit the Red Sea State and take a tour of Swakin and Port Sudan.
