Civil aviation achieves 75.2% of safety requirements

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced that it has achieved advanced rates in the International Civil Aviation Safety Register, which exceeded the international average in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization’s )ICAO( certificates. A statement issued by the Civil Aviation Authority on the occasion of the International Day of Civil Aviation, which coincides with the 27th of December each year and SUNA has received a copy of which, that the Civil Aviation Authority has achieved a rate of 75.2% in the effective implementation of air safety requirements, pointing to the establishment of Sudan National Safety and other National Programs in the field of aviation security. The release added that the CAA launched its pilot project in the re-planning of the Sudanese air space, which was highly commended by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for its contribution to the great facilities of the aircraft departing, in transit and landing in Sudan. The project enabled them to fly through short air corridors to reach their destinations in the shortest and less expensive way. The statement pointed out that the efforts were still being exerted for the renewal, improvement and continuous development of the aviation joints in all over the country.SUNA
