NUP rules out any bilateral dialogue with government

the National Umma Party NUP said it doesn’t consider any bilateral dialogue with Sudanese government.

” the party wouldn’t engage in a dialogue with ( the government) in respect of the Constitution and rather insist on conduction national constitutional conference where all segments of Sudanese people will take part”, said fadllallah Burma Nasser, the Party’s deputy chairman

al-Mahdi reportedly said in a meeting with the government presidential aide faisal Hassan Ibrahim that he welcomed participation of his party in drafting the Sudanese constitution and elections, provided freedoms in the country.

Barma said , they reserve a special reception for al-Mahdi at the Khartoum airport. It will be followed by a procession at the gate of Abdul Qayoom in Omdurman until the dome of Imam Mahdi, where the official ceremony will take place.
