Security thwarts attempt to smuggle 52 barrels of fuel in Gezira state

National Security forces thwarted an attempt by smugglers driving two vehicles loaded with 52 barrels of Benzene in Hasaheesa locality in a bid to sell them in black market.

Sudan news agency SUNA quoted the first Lieutenant Abdullah Bashir who administered seizure operation as saying “we will keep our eyes to preserve the country’s economy and will never hesitate in punishing those subverting the national economy”

Sudan is witnessing sever fuel shortcomings that led to immense jamming before fuel stations and souring transportation prices.
