Central African Republic: “Khartoum succeeds in reaching an ambitious peace agreement”

SDN. Khartoum
After ten days of talks between the government and fourteen armed groups in the Central African Republic, a peace agreement was announced in Khartoum, Sudan, on Saturday (February 1st), under the auspices of the African Union (AU) and United Nations. This agreement should in principle put an end to years of crisis in a battered country.

Otherwise, observers see that the Sudanese capital (guaranteeing peace) managed to reach the signing of a lasting peace agreement, which the two heads of state Al-Bashir and Touadera will attend today.
